Peter T. Mavrick practices business and labor/employment litigation in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His litigation experience includes trial and appellate law, arbitration proceedings, post-judgment collection litigation, as well as pre-trial discovery working, such as depositions and written discovery.
His substantive practice areas in labor/employment law include defense of wage claims, discrimination claims (including, but not limited to, race discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment, and violation of Florida labor/employment laws).
He has substantial experience in dealing with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR). He also has substantial experience with non-competition covenant and trade secret litigation under Florida law, and has had a great deal of success in the defense of such claims.
